What information is being collected?

Data shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following:

For the companies: office address (operational and, if available, registered address), fiscal data (VAT number), contact data (phone, fax, mail address, website), what kind of products or services the company is offering.

For the individuals working inside a company: name and surname, role inside the company, and, if available, direct mail address, direct phone and fax numbers, mobile phone number.

Navigation data (also cookies) if you browse our website. See below the relevant cookies paragraph.

We do not collect data about individuals and/or end consumers.

We do not collect data about minors.

We do not collect sensitive or special categories of personal data able to reveal racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, nor genetic or biometric data that could uniquely identify a natural person, nor data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation.

How do we collect data?

Besides the data already present in our database, data are collected when you browse and/or register on our website or on the websites of the exhibition organisers we partner with, or if you fill in an online or paper form, or because of your request (online, via e-mail, on paper or verbally) for information about our services or for support, as well as through our visits to specialised trade fairs for which we take care of the space sales or our visits to trade fairs that we attend precisely to meet new companies (business cards exchanges, catalogues).

Why do we collect the data?

The data will be used:

to fulfil your requests on the basis of the existing contractual agreements between us and to allow you to receive the services you ordered;

for administrative purposes and for the fulfilment of legal obligations such as, for example, accounting, tax, or to implement requests from the authority;

to process a contact request;

to send you pieces of information concerning exhibitions and trade fairs organised in foreign countries, inside and outside the European Union;

to browse within our website.

What is the lawful basis of the data processing?

Excluding the companies who already took part in exhibitions proposed by us or who asked for details on these events, as well as the ones who already gave us their consent to receive our commercial information, from May 25, 2018 the lawful basis for the data processing may also be the legitimate interest of the data controller.

How do we use the data?

The data will be used to manage our existing contractual relationships and to send you pieces of information on specialised trade fairs and exhibitions potentially interesting for your company and, in case you will decide to take part in the event as an exhibitor or as a visitor, to fulfil your orders.

How long will we be storing your data?

The data will be stored for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected; in any case, the criterion used to determine this period is based on compliance with the terms permitted and/or imposed by applicable laws and by the principles of minimization of processing and rational management of archives.

Are we sharing your data with other parties?

Your data will of course be accessible to our employees, consultants or service providers for administrative, accounting, tax and marketing reasons, limitating the data sharing to the minimum they will need to accomplish their duties.

Consultants and service providers are based in the European Union.

If you will decide to take part in an exhibition, whether as an exhibitor or as a visitor, part of or all your data may be transferred by us (or by yourself, in case you fill in an online form) to the organiser of the exhibition, in order to fulfil your requests.

The exhibition organiser may be located inside or outside the European Union.

In no case we shall sell your data to third parties.

How do we protect your data?

Data processing is done by both computer and paper means; we have adopted a variety of security measures to protect your data against the risk of loss, misuse or alteration.

What will the effect of the usage of your data?

You will receive pieces of information (usually mail and phone calls, never with automated systems) regarding trade fairs and exhibitions pertaining to your activity, in order to evaluate if it could be useful for your company to take part in the event, or as an exhibitor or as a visitor.

Is this usage likely to cause you to object or complain?

The pieces of information we shall be sending you, although commercial proposals, are normally referring to the industrial sector in which your company operates.

As an example, if your company produces biscuits, we shall not send you proposals about a shoe fair.

What are your rights?

It is always your right to ask to access and rectificate your data as well as to ask us to cancel your data or to restrict their usage, at no cost for you.

Every newsletter we shall be sending will have the relevant unsubscribe link.

Usage of the Website

This privacy policy is disclosed to the public and valid only for our website and not for other websites the user may visit through links found on our website. We do not have any control on these websites, the majority of which is based in foreign countries, nor on the procedures they employ to preserve the privacy of the data. We therefore suggest you to check the privacy conditions of all the companies you get in contact with through links from our website before providing any personal data.

During the ordinary course of operations, the IT systems and software procedures for running this website acquire some personal data whose forwarding is implied in the use of the communication protocols of the Internet.
